At Wine Country Trykes, we believe mobility is freedom — and every person deserves the chance to experience it. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the five-county region of Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Mendocino, and Lake, we provide custom adaptive tricycles (Amtrykes) at no cost to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities.
These specialized trykes aren’t off-the-shelf — each one is carefully fitted through professional evaluations to ensure maximum comfort, safety, and independence. Since our founding, we’ve grown rapidly through grassroots energy, volunteer hustle, and partnerships with local healthcare professionals. We’ve seen firsthand how a single tryke can transform not just a recipient’s life, but their entire family’s.
We’ve worked with physical therapists, doctors, community organizations, and generous donors to make mobility possible for those who thought it was out of reach. From our first fundraising event to today’s regional outreach efforts, one thing remains constant: we rely on our local communities to power this mission.
